Akatsuki High: Chapter 1Chapter I: ArrivalAkatsuki High: Chapter 1 by RenUzumaki
She stopped at the gate, looking up past the sharp black points to the massive academy beyond, Akatsuki High. She gripped the edge of her white uniform skirt and sighed lightly. It was day one and all the new freshman were filing into the building. Everyone, except for her. Unlike her classmates, she was alone, friendless. She had no memories of her parents and lived on her own in the village. When she got the invitation to attend Akatsuki High, she just couldn't refuse. This was her chance to start over and make a few friends, or so she hoped.
Taking a deep breath, she walked into the academy, her eyes taking in every detail. It appeared like you would expect an academy to appear: clean hallways, orderly classrooms, the newest updates in everything, all the students in uniforms, etc... She smiled a bit and proceeded to her locker. After grabbing her books for her first classes, she set off to homeroom.
She wandered the halls and tried to find her homeroom but

At first glance, the art teacher seemed rather normal. She was a woman of average height with grey eyes, a soft smile, and a simple black ladies work suit. That is...if you didn't count her blue hair, labret piercing, and heavy ultra-marine eye shadow. In addition, she wore an origami flower in her hair, though that, Ren didn't seem to mind at all. In fact, she had loved flowers ever since she was younger, especially white ones.
The teacher gazed over her class before turning to write her name on the whiteboard. In beautiful handwritten calligraphy, it read: Ms. Tenshi. She turned around once more, still holding the dry-erase marker in one hand and introduced herself.
"Good morning class! My name is Ms. Tenshi, as most of you already know, I will be your homeroom and art teacher for the next four years. I hope you'll like it here."
It took Ren a few moments to notice that during the entire duration of her introduction, Ms. Tenshi had been staring s

"Nice to meet you too... Ren-chan.."
A chill ran down Ren's spine as the mysterious voice had whispered into her ear. It was such a naturally smooth voice that she couldn't help but blush when he had spoken.
So there she stood, in front of all the upperclassmen, caught completely off her guard and flushing with embarrassment. The boy, highly pleased with the effect of his words, stepped out in front of her with a smirk. He was an attractive male, by appearance most likely a junior. He had soft brown eyes and slightly lengthened, messy red hair. He wore the same black uniform as Deidara.
His smirk turning to a sly smile, he introduced himself to Ren. "You can call me Sasori. I'm the representative for the art homeroom... You see, our little tradition is that, I, the representative, get to personally welcome all our new students~" His gaze drifted back toward Deidara, who still bore a wide grin. "It looks like you found the classroom alrig
One ChanceI sit here, for all to see. I know my words are small, my shouts are whispers to the word. But at least I spoke out with all my might. At least I reached out to those in need for a shoulder to cry on. Bravery. It's a rare thing, but when you take the courage that you all have and use it to stand for those you care for, it means the world. I've been called a freak, a weirdo. But I've also been called a friend, a sister, a saint, and unique. I've been told "Nicole, your type of character only comes along every blue moon." I want to tell all of you how I feel, truly, from the bottom of my heart. When I see hurt in the world my heart breaks in two, and I want to reach out and fix it. I want all of you to know that no matter who you are I love all of you. I see the good in you that no one see's in or believes in. You only get one chance to life. And I want to help make it memorable. If you ever need a shoulder to cry on, or someone to listen to what you have to say then I'm here. One Chance by Hallowfest
